I always thought those sports jerseys you see in the stores that say "one-size-fits-all" were a joke. As a former offensive lineman, my jerseys were always tailored to my 6' 6," 300 lbs.+ frame (usually an XXXXL) and fitted specifically for my position. Likewise, our field goal kicker commanded a unique jersey size that was fitted completely differently than the jersey of an offensive lineman. From the size of the jerseys to the names that were stitched on the back of them, our jerseys were completely customized for us.
