Benton Lim, Managing Director, South East Asia and China

Benton joined America II Asia as the Managing Director in September 2005. Benton is responsible for the company's Asia operations, inside sales, strategic sales and purchasing to increase America II Asia's market share in the growing Independent distributions marketplace.

Prior to taking the position with America II Asia, Benton served as the Sales Director of Asia EMS and Singapore Country Manager for South Asia with Integrated Device Technology in 2000.

During his 10-year career with IDT started in 1995, Benton held positions of increasing responsibility in the sales environment including Singapore Country Manager and South Asia Country Manager. Benton began his semiconductor sales career with Motorola Semiconductor as a Senior Field Sales Engineer in 1993. Prior to joining Motorola, Benton was the Senior Engineer with Singapore Institute of Standard and Industrial Research between 1990 to 1993.

Benton earned his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore in 1990 and a MBA in International Business from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 1997.
