America II employees make a difference on 9/11

America II’s Third Annual 9/11 Memorial Run involved more than 100 employees, their friends and families. Many ran and walked in a 2.5-mile walk/run the morning of Saturday, September 11, 2004 to uphold the company’s tradition of actively commemorating the anniversary of September 11. Since establishing this tradition, the America II family has raised over $11,000 for the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg and the Patterson Trust benefiting local police and fire departments. The 2004 event, through employee contributions and a commitment from America II Corp. CEO Mike Galinski to match those contributions, brings that total above $15,000.
